Katie Webster. Manipulated Forms

 

Media is originally derived from an illistrated 2-D geometric form, that is digitally deconstructed to generate new Media. The images are then printed in relief form with loosely organic formations. These constructions lead to large scale conte rubbings and 3-D paper sculptures constructions, all relating to a repetitive process, creating collage "like" patterns in limitless variations. From these patterens, Digital prints are also produced by projecting the re-produced images on to models and re-photographing.
